The Filipino Community is invited to attend the 3rd anniversary celebration of KASAGIP Charitable Trust, a Wellington-based not-for-profit organisation organised by Filipinos aiming to provide assistance to migrants, both Filipino and non-Filipino by offering support in their settlement into New Zealand. The celebration will be held at the Maungaraki Hall (Dowse Drive Maungaraki) on the 21st of July 2012 from 3-5 pm. A special Mass will be offered at 2pm also at the same venue.

KASAGIP offers a variety of assistance including airport pick up, relocation/assistance in moving homes, donation of good quality used household items and clothing to those who need it, advise or help in their job hunting, assistance in CV writing, linking/networking, driving lessons to name a few among the many types of assistance offered based on identified need.

KASAGIP has helped a number of Filipinos since 2009 who are now fortunately Permanent Residents. KASAGIP is realising a potential need to expand as there are currently beneficiaries being assisted located at areas as far as Auckland and Christchurch. It is for this reason that KASAGIP invites more volunteers and potential donors to contribute to the noteworthy cause and mission of the Trust.
